The Mustard Seed Revelation

Mark 4:

30 And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?

31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:

32 But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

Many people who teach on Mustard Seed Faith focus on the size of the seed and teach that it is little faith that can move a mountain. Even though I believe that is true, I believe that it is only part of the truth of the mustard seed revelation. When we read the scripture above, it seems that our Lord Jesus was not so much emphasizing the size of the mustard seed, but that it grows. Sure enough, when I studied about the growth of a mustard seed and a mustard seed plant in nature, I found that a mustard seed, once planted, can grow into a full plant in 35 - 45 days. That's fast I thought! Then the Lord quickened me to understand that just as a mustard seed can go from seed to harvest in as little as 35-45 days, our faith in God, like a mustard seed, can grow in this short amount of time as well. Thus the 30-Day Mustard Seed Faith Challenge was born.

THIS IS A CHALLENGE! So every day, we are challenging you to apply the principles taught to your life. Every day there is a teaching, a homework assignment is given. Some actionable task that you can do to apply the principles that were taught. You cannot be a casual onlooker or casual hearer if you want your faith to grow. We must be doers of the Word and not hearers only if we want to reap the benefits of this mustard seed faith principle!

The 30 days faith challenge was educational, inspirational, and transformational. The speakers were phenomenal and thoroughly prepared. The topic of Faith came alive everyday.

I was so inspired by Sister Linda as she taught from her book, The Battle for our Faith. During her presentations, her book came alive. As she expounded on each chapter, I was encouraged to read the book again. All of the speakers shared from their heart and gave insight into Faith.

I am so thankful that I got the opportunity to learn and embrace the depth of Faith.

Over the 30-Day Mustard seed Faith Challenge of growing in faith, I have heard confirmation from numerous Holy Spirit-filled preachers/teachers whose hearts spoke to the matter. I have grown through homegoings of family members. Even though MY DADDY, EL Shaddai has calmed me down as I pray even in my sleep, the Holy SPIRIT HEARS my cry. His Victory is in my Long faith, my Conviction. So the challenge brought confirmation and these Faith messages have caused me to seek out HIS name to see how HE cares for me. This Faith challenge has given me new insight. Yes Proverbs 3:1-10, 22:6; Psalm 29:2; 2 Timothy 3:15 and 1:13. I pray now Holy Spirit move as I listen memorize, meditate on the word.

I really enjoyed the 30 Day Mustard Seed Faith Challenge.  I was blessed and can truly say that I am growing more in Faith.  I thank Apostle Daniel Lavan, one of my favorites, for the invitation.

One topic that caught my attention was Day 11 – 5 Reasons Why Your Faith Won’t Work, with Pastor Daryl Arnold.  Reason #5 –When you are at war, really resonated with me because of a situation with my family.
(Galatians 5:6)  The only thing that counts is Faith expressing itself through love.

I often wondered why sometimes my Faith didn’t produce the results that I wanted. I thought that the Devil was hindering me.  But now I know that I have not been expressing myself in love.  I have decided that I am not going to allow the wrong that was done to me in the past keep me from my Faith operating in the future.

I am going to wrap up my Faith in LOVE because I cannot afford for my prayers and blessings to end up in the junk mail.

Thank you Minister Linda Smith for sharing your vision and Pastor Daryl Arnold for an enlightening message.
